Inspired by the 1995 exhibition, Beat Culture and the New America, 1950–1965, at the Whitney Museum of American Art, Altered and Assembled, juried by Maryann J. Riker, takes up the tradition of altered art/books and assemblage art/sculpture by artists of today.

How exciting for you! Congratulations! Be sure to let us know the outcome.

I also enjoyed your previous post regarding the creative process. It reminded me of a quote I came across recently that was basically a simplification of what you wrote. It went something like: "Contemplate, Commit, Create."
