As promised here's the finished Morpheus Box that I started in Michael DeMeng's class two weeks ago-3 Mary's and Joan of Arc- it is nameless right now- not sure what to title it-
It's a bit heavy and martyred with the flames
and chains. maybe it's called "sacrifice." that would be a good summation.
the zipper came off and the corner pieces i bought from a great etsy seller- high desert supplies aka high desert diva. i love that gal! she's got wonderful stuff.
my collection for the stowe street art fest is starting to come together!
I also found Nancy Anderson today. this woman's work rocks my world! when michael said i would like her stuff, he wasn't joking! wowsers! watch out mr demeng, if she teaches you might have lost a fan (just kidding- but, yeah, her stuff is that good!)
last thing to report: german scrap angel wings are flying off the shelves!! i listed five lots today and they all sold! listed some more...
ok, enough goofing around! got to get back to work!

OMG,
You have created one beautiful object of art my friend. You should be patting yourself on the back, big time. This is stunning and I thank your for sharing it with us.

I agree completely, this is an amazing piece LR!! Absolutely wonderful, you would make Mr. Demang very proud!
this really is fantastic. I've seen quite a few of these around the nets and this one is one of the best. Love the chains and sacrifice is a good name.
great work L!
in both classes. I definitely recommend Nancy Anderson's work to anyone who like assemblage. It's a nice contrast of approach to my work....though I may have lost a fan...boo hoo...at least you're moving allegiances to a friend of mine.
great meeting you,
Michael deMeng

This is too wonderful! I absolutely love it!!! I saw your wings on zne, someone was raving about having bought them, better list more;-)

Your box is WAY cool! Mine is downright goofy - it was my second day project so I was a bit fried by the time I started it, but still - this is awesome! I'll check out Nancy Anderson too!
Have an arty day!

Wow! This is incredible (and not just because of those corner pieces :-)
How would you feel about me doing a blog post about this piece of art?
