inspiration-Louise Nevelson

Louise Nevelson is best known for her monochromatic, abstract expressionist assemblages. She used found objects and discarded things to make shallow "crates" at are grouped together to make larger works.

"When you put together things that other people have thrown out, you’re really bringing them to life – a spiritual life that surpasses the life for which they were originally created."

wonderful selection! I've been fan of this talented artist since I stumbled over some of her work when I was a kid. Great stuff!
